Here is the MSI Stealth 15M 15.6 inch Thin and Light Gaming Laptop

It is a thinner and lighter gaming laptop that still manages to pack in some good specs despite its smaller size.

Design

Its got a clean all aluminum design with carbon gray finish but there is also pure white version too.

The Stealth weighs around 3.7 pounds.

Its on the slimmer side for a 15 inch gaming laptop with these specs at under 1.6 cm thick, making it quite portable.

Fingerprints and dirt are too obvious on the matte interior but its easy to clean with a microfiber cloth as its a smooth surface.

Display

The screen has 1080P 144 Htz.

There is no G-syn, no way of disabling optimus, and no dynamic boost here.

It has got 60% sRGB, 43% NTSC, 45% Adobe RGB and 45% DC IP3.

The brightness is below 300 nits.

Webcam

There is a 720P camera above the screen in the centre of the bezel.

Webcam is nice with good audio quality.

No Windows Hello face unlock support though.

Keyboard

The keyboard has single zone of RGB backlighting with limited effects.

You can cycle through them all or disable lighting with the F8 shortcut key.

All keys and secondary functions are illuminated but there’s no key brightness control.

Keyboard is good for typing.

The power button is part of the keyboard on the top right.

There are also some air vents behind the keyboard just below the screen.

Precision touchpad clicks down anywhere and work fine though it felt a little small.

MSI usually uses wider touchpad, but thats not the case here.

Ports

On the left there is an air exhaust vent, the power input, micro SD card slot, USB 3.2 Gen1 type A port and 3.5 mm audio combo jack.

The right has a Type C Thunderbolt 4 port with Display port output, second USB 3.2 Gen 1 type A port, HDMI 2.0 port and there is an air exhaust vent over on this side too.
