Here is the Lenovo 100E Chromebook 2nd Gen Laptop

It is the cheapest laptop money can buy.

The 11.6 inch Lenovo 2nd Generation E100 is getting you around $250.

Performance

This laptop has a Quad-core MediaTek MT8173C processor running at 2.1 gigahertz which is the same processor found in other Chromebooks in the $300 to $500 range.

You are getting 4 gigs of DDR4 RAM which is enough for multiple Chrome tabs and apps to be running simultaneously on this lightweight OS.

A Chromebook makes a lot of sense.

You can catch up on youtube, reply to comments, manage your channel, send out some business emails and do some light browsing.

Without the need to fire up your main laptop.

Chrome OS does not need much power to operate.

The majority of the apps are available on the Google Play store.

Design

A laptop is plastic all around and the top is a grippy matte finish that picks up the occasional fingerprints here and there but is certainly not a fingerprint magnet.

The inside body is the brushed steel look which is unexpected and adds to the user experience.

The charger you get is a USB C which is incredible at this price range.

You have an 11.6-inch anti-glare HD display at 1366 x 768 resolution and a well-spaced keyboard with some Chrome short cut buttons built-in up top.

The screen bends completely flat but does not flip around and this is certainly not a touch screen.

The entire laptop is drop-proof up to 2.5 feet.

It’s about an inch thick and weighs only 2.7 pounds.

About a quarter pound heavier than Pixelbook.

This is definitely not competing with the ultra-thin Chromebooks on the market but it’s not as bulky as you imagine.

Keyboard

As this laptop is geared towards the education space both the keyboard and the trackpad are spill-resistant.

Ports

In terms of port, on one side you get a USB C port, a USB 3.0 port, an HDMI port, and a full-sized SD card slot reader.

On the other side, you get a headphone jack and Kensington lock.
