The laptop comes with a Dual-core i5 processor with 2.4 Gigahertz, 8 gigs of RAM, 256 GB SSD, 1080P non-touch display, and 3 cell batteries.

Design

It is really light weighing only 3.3 pounds.

This laptop is classified as an ultrabook due to its lightweight.

For the exterior appearance, this is a rather attractive design with a nice cool black matte finish.

It looks similar to E7440 but just a black version but looks almost identical to the E7450.

Keyboard

When you open the laptop you start typing on the keyboard.

You get the nice backlit keyboard which is pretty nice to have.

The wrist pads get smudgy very easily.

Ports

At the bottom, there are a hefty amount of ventilation ports available which is always nice to have and at the top, there is a Dell docking station.

On the front you can see a blinking light which is a power indicator and next to that is the SSD indicator and next to that is the battery indicator.

At the back, you get another ventilation section and this one is designed for the ventilation of the fan itself.

On the right, you get an ethernet port, HDMI port, mini display port, two USB 3.0 ports, and the power connector port.

On the left, you have a 3.5 mm headphone jack, an SD card reader slot, another USB 3.0 port, and a SIM card tray for mobile data connectivity.

Connectivity

It comes with an 802.211 dual-band AC adapter.

There is also an option to upgrade that to a tri-band adapter.

It also supports Bluetooth 4.1.

Display

The screen is 1080P with good clarity.

Color pop is decent on this laptop.

It’s brightness output level isn’t the greatest on its maximum.

The screen isn’t glossy and surprisingly has a pretty good viewing angle.
